Draft Beer Flow Meters for Bars and Restaurants

Draught beer is often a bar’s biggest hidden loss: foam, over-pours, comp pints and beers that never get rung in. Pour Controls’ draft beer flow meters measure every ounce poured from every tap and compare it with your POS sales, so you know exactly where your beer goes.

How Draught Beer Monitoring Works

  1. Flow meters are installed inline on each beer line, in banks of four.
  2. The Julie Draught Beer Controller reads every meter. One controller handles up to 48 lines, and more controllers can be added.
  3. The Sprint Cloud Server compares pours with POS sales for every tap and every shift.
  4. You see the results in live reports and a daily summary email.

What You Can Track

  • Ounces poured per tap and per shift, every day.
  • Poured vs. sold: the gap between the two is your loss.
  • Yield per keg: spot problem lines early.
  • After-hours pours: anything poured while the bar is closed.
  • One dashboard: beer and liquor reporting in the same place.

Who Uses Draught Beer Monitoring?

Pubs, sports bars, taprooms, restaurants, hotels and stadiums: any venue where draught is a big part of sales. Draught monitoring reports into the same dashboard as our liquor gun systems and Donut liquor pouring system, so your whole beverage cost is in one place.

Connects to Your POS

Pour Controls integrates with 90+ POS systems, including Micros, Aloha, PAR and POSitouch. An optional POS interlock means a drink can only be poured once it’s rung in.
